Alright … so after a hell of a trip (around 24 hours on airplanes and airports and a 6 hours drive from Frankfurt to Flensburg on top) I finally arrived back home in good old Germany.
Just relaxing … that’s what I thought. But first of in the morning I had to see a dentist because the tooth I cracked in the States was about to get that loose, that I was scared of loosing it! After that I raced to Weißenhäuser - beach to get changed in 5 minutes, run to the beach, grab my kite which was in the air already and do my heat.
At least I advanced, even if I didn’t had the run of my lifetime …
The event itself was pretty relaxed this time. We did have good winds on Friday and Saturday - morning. After that the wind droppef straight to almost nothing so we couldn’t run a double - elimination.
In the Freestyle I did finish third place together with Stefan Spiessberger from Austria. I didn’t compete in the course - race because I was simply ways too tired to do anything more.
In two weeks we’ll go down to Switzerland to Lake Silvaplana for the first ever Kitesurf - Trophy in Switzerland. I look forward to that … should be quite cool to run a comp. surrounded by mountains covered with snow.
Good winds for all of you

Hey everyone,
my trip to Canada started pretty bad actually. My luggage got lost once again … this time in Washington.
But therefore the flight from Toronto to Saskatoon was in a pretty amazing plane with USB - plugins for the iPod and powerplugs for the Mac Book. Pretty sick…and I also had one complete row of the emergency - exit for myself.
It was time to start season 6 of 24
Jonathan Storiy from Escape - Sports in Saskatoon came to pick me up at the airport and we then went straight to one of the bigger lakes to go ride. But if I’m honest, I just couldn’t go … when I left Virginia Beach we had like 40 degrees celsius and here it was raining with 8 degrees celsius … it’s just crazy. But luckily the weather is supposed to change on the weekend so that we’ll get warmer temperatures and sunshine during the Wind & Water - event at Lake Diefenbaker which I’ll attend.
So far my program here was quite busy already. Mike Dowie and Jonathan prepared some intervies with radio - stations and the local TV.
Yesterday I did an interview for CBC - radio. Today I did an interview for a local radio in Prince Albert, then we went to do a live - interview at the cfcr - radiostation and finished the day with a tv - interview for the global news - tv.
Earlier today we did also go to Prince Albert to check out a new shop.
It’s at 907a Central Avenue in Prince Albert and it’s called “Ten Foot Touque”.
To be honest, when I looked at it from the outside I must admit, I wasn’t expecting much, but once I entered that place I was pretty amazed.
The atmosphere was great in there…they got a fireplace with a tv and everything was looking really nice.
They’ll build a pretty big indoor - skatepark in the back of it too, which I think is just super cool!!
And believe it or not, they do even have a sauna in that place…you can hardly call such a place a shop no more…
Tomorrow we’ll drive down to the south to go to the Wind & Water which will be held at Lake Diefenbaker.
It should be windy on saturday too, from what I’ve heard so that’ll be great to get some good riding down there.
I’ll let you know, what was going on at Lake Diefenbaker next week!
But I think that it’ll be good riding and good partying there … so whoever is hanging around here, just come by!!

Hey guys,it’s been a long time since my last update and quite some things have happened. The week of the Triple S was absolutely killer, everyone was having a great time and it was the most relaxing comp. that I’ve ever attended! Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get in the top 5 but if you look who else was competing on the SSS I think it’s ok
Check out a little video I put together. I’ll have to get used to the new software first, so I was struggeling to import the .mpg files that Ted Bautista took from me on the sliders but could only use the nice shots that Toby Bräuer filmed on his high - speed camera. I hope you’ll like the shots. That day I was lit on my 6m Pulse2. I did ride with my new Liquid Force - Shane bindings, which are closed - toe boots. They give you so incredibly much grip and you can lift the rail of your board up for a few extra cm. with your toes pushing against the top of the boots. Just incredibly confortable and easy to put on … best booties I’ver ever been riding on!!
Yesterday I unfortunately had to see a dentist because the root of one of my teeth got so inflamed I couldn’t make it through the day without a handfull of painkillers no more… he fixed the crap pretty well and I think I am even gonna make it without antibiotiks.
Anyways…today Ted organized a pretty pimped Mastercraft X - 30 so we could go for a ride behind that. My left ankle still kind of sucks because I twisted it during the SSS like 3 times so I took it easy on the wakeboard but had great fun on the wakesurfer! Pretty nice to go ride a wave, that never ends…only problem…the boat’s thirsty which makes the wave more expensive than the once you can catch in the ocean.
My flight to Canada leaves in a few hours…so I’m of to bed now

Hey folks,
on Wednesday, I’ll leave Germany for a nice trip to the Triple S in North Carolina/USA!
I do look really forward to this event since it isn’t as stressed out as comps usually are.
There’re no heats, there’ll be 24 riders out on the water for a week and judge each other.
I am sure this event will be absolutely sick!!

After that I’ll go to Canada for a good week and visit our importer to go ride at a few locations with him.
Then I’ll be back to Germany just in time for the next SEAT Kitesurf - Trophy on the 20th of June!
Cheers and good winds to all of you
