Well, the Kitesurf - Trophy on Sylt didn’t go as good as I wanted but whatever … the conditions out there were quite harsh and I lost my kite during the first heat in the doubles. Still a quite big Kiteloop - Frontloop with a grab and a few other tricks were good enough to advance one heat. In the loosersfinal I was up against Rick Jensen who was pretty much on fire that day! It was blowing with good 30kts out there and Rick threw down some nice kung fu passes and kiteloops. So, I ended up 4th. Hope that I can improve that result during the German Championships that will be held next weekend in Sankt - Peter Ording.

I’ll be around in Sankt - Peter now for a while to get used to the spot and prepare for the German Championships which’ll come up next weekend!

Cheers

 Hey guys,

yesterday we did have some really nice conditions on the Seat Kitesurf - Trophy on Sylt/Westerland. The wind was coming from the southwest and with the lowtide we did have some pretty nice flatwater - spots to take of and land.

I came all the way up to the semi - finals but the cancelled the run because the wind did drop too much. The organizers did re - run the semi - finals today but unfortunately the conditions were so very bad, that I couldn’t show anything and lost against Mario Rodwald.

Tomorrow there’ll be the double - elimination. The only problem is, that Pile will be behind the bar of the Cave - Club tonight and spend us all free drinks like all the years before … what will we do? Epic party or full power at the double tomorrow? ;) I am not so very sure about that yet …

Cheers, Sebastian

Hey everyone,

I just came back from Switzerland, where we didn’t have no wind at all and went straight to Denmark, since a friend of mine was there to paraglide and the conditions were looking pretty good! After that I went straight to the Browuersdamm in Holland, where Flysurfer had invited many dealers, importers and magazine - representatives to do the so called “Innovation - Days”.

 Paragliding Denmark

Armin Harich and Andy Hanrieder introduced the new Psycho4. We had some good winds on Friday and Saturday and Nick could shoot some really good pictures. Well, tomorrow I’ll go back to Germany and then it’s also already time for the next Kitesurf - Trophy on Sylt! All the past years we had superb conditions and some great party with “Pile - the King” behind the bar of the Cave - Club. ;)  We’ll see what will happen this year … if you have time, just come by…it’ll be some great kiting and partying!!

Laters, Sebastian

The last day of the Seat Kitesurf - Trophy didn’t turn out any better than the previous two days did. The wind didn’t come in, the rain started and the only wind we had was during a huge thunderstorm. It’s been raining all night now and we’ll head back to Munich, where our train will leave tonight.

I spoke to Mischa from Kitejunkie.com earlier this day and he’ll check for some boards so we can do some riversurfing before our train leaves. But before that we’ll have a hell of a drive through the rainy Alps …

I’ll upload some pics of the river - action lateron …

Cheers

Lake Silvaplana and Mt. Corvatsch

The second day of the Kitesurf - Trophy in Silvaplana started much more promising than the last one. The sky cleared up except some huge thermal clouds. Unfortunately there was still a pretty strong northern wind blowing which kept the Maloja - wind from starting. In the end of the day we saw another nice bikeshow, paddeled across the lake on stand - up paddleboards and played soccer. :(

The third and last day of the Seat Kitesurf - Trophy in Switzerland started with nice and sunny weather but now the front with the rain kicked in so we won’t know, what will be going on in terms of wind …

We’ll see! :)
