In 2001 I saw the first kiteboarders and was thrilled right away!
I asked one of them whether I could try it and he said that I could take his gear, when there’s not enough wind for him.
A few months later I got my own 2 Kites and I shaped my first board with a friend.

After winning my first competition in 2002 I sold all my windsurf – equipment and went only kiting.

In 2008 I made a big decision and moved away from the coast to the city of Munich.
I had the chance to enter the Technische Universität München to start my studies in
“Technologie- & managementorientierte BWL“.
Since that point of time I am combining both – professional kiteboarding/snowkiting and my studies.
