After driving all the night Armin and me woke up this morning only to see some really, really heavy fog lying over the sea and low winds. In addition to that it was also quite cold! Well … who thought we would have some amazing conditions later this afternoon with solid 13 – 14kts and flat water takeoffs between the breaking waves on the sandbank.

Before I could enjoy the freestyle – conditions we did 4 huge course races. The upwind was one of the longest I’ve ever done. And we had to do 2 rounds! After one race your legs were already burning like crazy! I did ok in the races, I got 7th overall after today.

Problem was, after all that racing I was so tired that I could not do well in the freestyle anymore. In addition to that I got a real hard opponent in my first heat – Victor Borsuk. He was riding strong, I messed it up … got my ass kicked in the first round already. It sucks but what should I expect after all these races with my batteries flat? Hoping for a good double now.

Right now we’re watching the socker and keeping our fingers crossed for BAYERN!!! You guys rock … do the triple!!!
