After a hell of a trip from Phuket to Hua Hin we finally arrived late on the 12th. Yesterday we rent a car and went straight to Pran Buri which is about 30km down the coast. Such a nice spot … unfortunately there was no wind at all that day and we just chilled out, got some scenery shots and ate some great thaifood at the local market. Went out for a Songkran – Party after that …

Today we were frustrated because it really looked like there wasn’t gonna be any more wind at all – but we were wrong! When I checked outside the restaurant we were just chilling in, all the trees were moving like crazy! We packed our stuff and raced the car to Pran Buri. First a little session in front of the restaurant just 300m south of the Evanson Resort where we had the KTA – comp. The tide was high, so it was kind of choppey and I saw that massive peer a few kilometres further up the coast! We were about to find the sickest place to kite at in Thailand that I’ve been to. It was SICK! After waiting for the wind for almost two weeks that was just what I needed. Some great power in the 12m and the super flat water behind the peer. Love it!! I think we got some good shots done. Unfortunately Nick as well as his cam were overheating in the windshadow behind the peer. The Canon actually gave a warning that he should switch it off because it got too hot! Haha … welcome to Thailand!

Tomorrow we’ll go to that place early to get some scenery – shots and not miss a single minute of the wind at this great place!!
