The first day after the comp I took it a little bit easier because we partied really hard that night! Ended up in the Hilton Disco as usual!
But still, we had some really good wind and some flat water between the waves just in front of the big KBA – school and the Condochain appartment – block.
I trained a few wakestyle – tricks and it worked out very nicely although I was still a bit dizzy from last night.

On the next morning I absolutely didn’t feel like going to the beach the 12th day in a row and went to the end of the bay to see a nice tempel instead. It was very hot that day and tiring to get up all those endless stairs but it was worth it for sure! The view was amazing and there were a few nice monks who were very nice and polite. In the afternoon I went to check out Dzervads school the North Kiteboardingclub right after the Village Market – mall in Hua Hin. Nice place … had a full power oldschool – session together with Dzevvie and Toby Bräuer. Was fun to ride a little different in between all the unhooked tricks. :)

The day after I took it easy and didn’t ride apart from a small session with Dzervad in front of his school.
Was also really cool to chill in the sun next to the pool and eat star fruits right from the tree … welcome to paradise!!

Finally on the 24th we left Hua Hin for the day and drove to Pranburin. It’s just about a good half an hour drive further down to the south. The bay runs in an angle compared to the bay of Hua Hin and there’s no big building which helps a lot with the wind. It doesn’t get as disturbed in the afternoon as it does in Hua Hin. And what’s even better, in low tide you’ll have some really nice flat water between the sandbanks! It was such an amazing day … first I did some wakestyle – riding and finally got my S-Mobes done. Then we had a coconut and a few soda to continue with a super nice oldschool – session with the Ballerino aka Toby Bräuer (Kiteforum). After that some dinner/lunch – green curry! So good … the a nice sundown – session to make the day perfect!

Tomorrow we’ll go back there for the registration of the Kitesurf Tour Asia. I am really motivated and hope I’ll compete well. Still, there’re some riders of the PKRA who’ll compete as well so it won’t be too easy and I’ll also ride all disciplines. Busy days to come!

P.S: Check out the pictures in the new gallery below!!! Sacha de Ridder did a really good job and kept most of the action on the card.
