After a hell of a trip I finally made it to Hua Hin and already hat my first session out here. It’s nice, the water is really warm, no need for a wetsuit and the wind was good too. Unfortunately coming from the wrong direction causing huge chop. The people in Thailand are really friendly and polite, you can eat for so little money and it’s just so good to finally be in the warmth again and go kite everyday!!

Right now I am waiting for the wind to kick in and then I’ll enter the qualifier event later on.
So let’s see how it goes … haven’t really been kiting during the winter- and exams – time so it’s of course some work to do until I am back at my level and improving.
I brought a crazy racedoor – prototype from Armin & Eddy and tried it out yesterday. Apart from some problems with getting the daggerboard up and down it works amazing. And it goes upwind like crazy! I tacked out 100m or so and then I could ride upwind all the beach.

Anyways … the wind is coming. I’ll keep you posted.
